Abu Dhabi, 2018: Today, the Federation of Euro-Asian Stock Exchanges (FEAS) and the Association of National Numbering Agencies (ANNA) signed a Memorandum of Understanding during the FEAS Annual Flagship event “ConFEAS 2018” in Abu Dhabi, UAE. This MoU was signed by FEAS Secretary General Mr. Konstantin Saroyan and Mr. Dan Kuhnel, Chairman of the Executive Board of ANNA. The main principle behind the MoU is a mutual commitment in complementing each other’s duties and functions within the global capital markets. Both organizations are committed to working together on the promotion of capital market development, the organization of conferences, trainings, the development of mutually agreed projects, and the dissemination of activities through several publications. Mr. Konstantin Saroyan, FEAS Secretary General said: “On behalf of FEAS Secretariat and FEAS Members, I am honored to say that FEAS is pleased to establish this cooperation agreement with ANNA, because such cooperation can be quite helpful in fulfilling our commitment to the development of our organizations. We attach a great importance to collaboration with the Association of National Numbering Agencies, gaining yet another major international partner in the effort to promote the development of the industry in the global scale.” Mr. Dan Kuhnel, Chairman of the Executive Board of ANNA said: “The Memorandum of Understanding that has now been officially entered into between FEAS and ANNA is the next step for our two organisations; sharing a vision to better the capital markets we serve through the creation of a cooperation partnership to collaborate on common business and industry matters. This further emphasizes our two organizations’ commitment to assist in the continued development of the capital markets we serve through knowledge and experience sharing of our membership.” ### About FEAS: The Federation of Euro-Asian Stock Exchanges (FEAS) was established on 16 May 1995 in Istanbul with 12 founding members. During the Extraordinary General Assembly Meeting of the Federation held on May 16, 2017 in Tehran, it was decided to move the Federation's headquarter from Istanbul, Turkey to Yerevan, Armenia. The purpose of the Federation is to contribute to the cooperation, development, support and promotion of capital markets in the Euro-Asian Region (i.e. Europe, Asia and the Mediterranean Basin). Currently there are 38 members: 21 full members, 5 affiliate members, 7 observers and 5 partners including post trade institutions, dealers associations and regional federations from 20 countries. About ANNA: The Association of National Numbering Agencies (ANNA) is a global member association seeking to foster standardisation within the financial industry by upholding the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) principles and by promoting ISIN, FISN and CFI codes for financial instruments. This is achieved through ongoing, collaborative work with market participants, regulators and other standards bodies. Under ANNA’s stewardship, the role of the ISIN in enabling global financial communications has been established worldwide. Founded in 1992 by 22 numbering agencies, today ANNA’s membership continues to grow, with more than 120 global members and partners allocating ISIN, FISN and CFI codes on behalf of their local jurisdictions. By putting in place rigorous governance around the development, allocation and sharing of ISIN, FISN and CFI codes, ANNA helps facilitate open, transparent markets diminishing barriers to access, while protecting the integrity of the standards. As a result, ISIN has become the recognised global standard for unique identification for all types of financial and referential instruments, helping to connect and protect global markets.   In addition, ANNA has established the Derivatives Service Bureau (DSB), a fully automated global numbering agency to meet the specific operational and regulatory requirements of the over-the-counter derivatives markets.
