On May 1, 2009 Baku Stock Exchange held its annual Shareholders Meeting in Park Hyatt hotel. The agenda of the meeting consisted of the following three issues the presentation of the BSEs financial economical performance for 2008; the companys action plan and budget for 2009; and election of the proposed members of the Financial Supervision Committee. All three items were succesfully ratified by the Shareholders Meeting. The General Meeting approved distribution of the dividends to the shareholders in an amount of 30% of the net revenue of the stock exchange. As a part of their working visit to Baku, Mr. Huseyin Erkan, the Chairman of the Istanbul Stock Exchange, and Mr. Murat Bolat, the head of the Foreign Securities Trading Department of the ISE, took part in the General Meeting and addressed the assembly it should be noted the Istanbul Stock Exchange has been the shareholder of the BSE since 2000.
