On June 12, 2009 Baku Stock Exchange (BSE) held a forum at Hyatt Regency Hotel. The subject of the forum was The Financial Markets as the source of convenient Funds. The event was organized with the help of European Bank of Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) and supported by State Committee for Securities (SCS). The top management of more than 25 leading companies representing differents sectors of economy participated in this event. Seinor members of SCS, Azerbaijan Investment Company (AIC), International Financial Corporation (IFC) and EBRD were among presenters. The chairman of SCS, Mr. Rufat Aslanly opened the forum with welcome speech. He emphasized the importance of such events for the development of capital market in Azerbaijan. Mr. Aslanly said that his organization will continously support this type of events. BSE and other participant made presentations on the subject of capital markets during the forum
